Pages and Projects {Persevere Devotional Kit}

Mail call!

Along with envelopes and magazines, there was a box from Dayspring! We were packing and preparing to head for Colorado for a few days, when this package made its appearance from my mailbox onto my kitchen island. I was delighted! Inside was a Bible Devotional kit by Illustrated Faith.

Persevere. The name for this kit caught my eye the first time I read it.

I riffled through the box and gave the kit a quick perusal, then tucked it tightly into my book bag I was packing up.

One afternoon in our Colorado cabin, I pulled it out again and began to give it a closer inspection. I love all the details and encouragement contained within. The devotional cards are great, the stickers are beautiful and the washi is too fun!

Thanks to @jenifermetzger for sharing about these lovely kits! I’m really, really happy with mine. The subject and the contents are so timely for me.

This is the first one I’ve tried, although I’ve eyed them for a LONG time! 🙂

Deeper Waters was waiting for me at the post office when we got back from Colorado.

Denise J. Hughes has a huge heart for studying and reading the Word and for encouraging others to dig deep.

She shares stories from her life and her journey in searching the Scriptures and realizing how much God cares.

I like these sentences from the back of the book, “You don’t have to be in seminary to be a serious student of the Bible. God’s Word is for everyone.” So true.

Denise has a beautiful and peaceful way of writing. I’m enjoying these pages. I was happy to receive an advance copy.

Deeper Waters is beautiful and poignant and points you to dig deeper into the Word of God. Denise J. Hughes shares stories and questions and lessons from her life that led her to go deep into the Word and seek out God and her journey found her falling in love with Him, His Word and studying to know Him more. She has a heart to encourage everyone to go deeper and dwell with God. I love how Denise shares about writing out the Word and how much it has impacted her life.
