Good morning book reader friends! Time to chat about turning book pages! And I even have a start of a dishcloth to show you this week!
Here’s a look inside this Study Bible for women. I’ve had a study Bible designed for women for nine years now and I still love it.Β
I received this Bible as a review from B&H/Lifeway.
I love the colors. They’re peaceful to me.
Here’s a look inside ~ I’ve always liked the extras a study Bible include. It helps add an extra depth of learning. This Bible has word studies. They give the Hebrew of the word and definition and will sometimes explain customs from the time or tell how many times you find this word in Scripture.Β
It also has doctrines listed throughout as well as character profiles of women in the Bible.Β
The artwork in it is very pretty!
The very front of the Bible contains pages for Wife’s Family Tree and Husband’s Family Tree. There’s a page featuring The Ketubah, A Jewish Marriage Contract. And there are a couple of pages to list Family Milestones. I love this because they use the verse in Samuel where Samuel sets up the Ebenezer stone. It’s important to remember what God has done in our lives!
In the back you’ll find a nice Concordance and several maps.
Oh, and always my favorite!!! Ribbon bookmarkers…..two of them, in coordinating colors with the Bible cover.Β
This children’s book is a B&H/Lifeway review.Β
ColorFull ~ Celebrating the Colors God Gave Us!
It is a beautiful and sweet book. I love its message. It embraces all the colors God made and all theΒ variety He put into our world in so many, many ways!
These friends have fun playing together and noticing colors with Granny Mac.
There are colors everywhere we look!
And they end their afternoon with a colorful -and yummy- ice cream treat!

Here’s several books that have been in my reading stack! I finished Love Idol last week. It’s really good. If you’ve ever struggled with perfectionism and basing your worth on your performance, Love Idol is a good read!
And notice the beginnings of a bright dishcloth! It’s a good summer color!
I’m linking up with Ginny today, too. She’s started hosting Yarn Along again on the first Wednesday of each month. Hop over there for more yarn and book ideas!
I’ve read a few chapters in Fierce Marriage and I’m enjoying it. It shares the story of the authors and how the way they looked at each other and at life changed when they were faced with the very good chance that Ryan might die.
The Power of a Positive No is a great book! I like reading books that teach effective communication skills, yet it’s still hard for me to apply these skills in my own life.Β
Platform is very good too. I’ve read Micheal Hyatt’s blog now and again.Β
And this journal! It’s so pretty! It keeps making me smile! Did you see my post about three journals for summer Bible study? If so, then you’ve already seen this journal! π If not, hop over and check out all three journals if you’d like!
If you have a couple of minutes, tell me what you’ve been reading OR what books are on your summer reading list! And do you use Audible? My son doesn’t love to read a book-book, but he does love to listen to audiobooks. He’s spent many hours over the years listening while he built Legos. He’s trying a free month from Audible and we aren’t sure yet if we think it’s really worth the money. If you’re an audiobook listener, I’d love to hear any tips and tricks and favorite places you find audios!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
