My mother would tell me stories about going to her Grandma’s house and the memories she had from there.
One of those things was corn candy.
Her Grandma always had a dish of corn candy and her grandchildren were delighted with this.
And she called it corn candy, not candy corn.
I like how simple, little things quietly turn themselves into keepsake memories and traditions.
I loved candy corn when I was kid. I don’t really like it now.
Not to eat, anyway.
But, I love the look of it! It reminds me of when I was a kid.
My Grandma often had it at her house and we would usually have some at our house in the fall.
I just love the look of candy. And candy corn and candy pumpkins make me smile.
Lovely fall candy!
Do you have memories about corn candy and do you like or dislike it?

I love candy corn but I eat all of it…so I only buy one bag and that is that. 🙂
I have some snacks that way too! 🙂 I love the Half-Baked ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s. However I could easily clean the whole container out by myself, so it isn’t safe to have it around much at all! Have a good new week!
Precious memories! I don’t remember Grandma ever being out of corn candy! I still like it and like to use it for center pieces.
I must come from a long line of candy lovers! Hooray! 🙂 🙂 🙂
