Thank-you Jesus.
I cannot comprehend.
Your sacrifice.
Your gift of grace.
Spanning all of time and space.
Every sin it will erase.
I long to gaze upon your face.
And clasp your hands
And kneel amazed.
That you would do this all for me.
For freedom you have made me free.
To live with you eternally!
You conquered death victoriously!
You reign! You reign all gloriously.
We give you praise for we ARE free.
Free indeed.
The skies were black, the veil was torn.
Your faithful followers did mourn.
Your body placed into the tomb.
Tears and despair. All hope seemed gone.
Stone sealed the door. The guards they stand.
No match against salvation’s plan.
The devil lurks and cackles Iong,
He rubs his hands. He thinks he’s won.
But he is wrong!!
Just wait and watch, disciples dear!
He’s coming forth! Oh, do not fear.
A love this big! A love like this!!
