What would harvest be, but boring, without a grain spill or two?!!
My farmer husband man and I were talking and we don’t think we’ve had a year of cutting on our circle that we haven’t had a grain spill. ๐ Keeps life interesting and makes some good photo opps! Yep,yep, yep!ย Here’s ourย milo spill last year…
There are doors on combines and grain cart and trucks and it’s pretty easy to forget to close one or for something not to be closed tightly. Something wasn’t working right on the hopper of the grain trailer. I’m not sure of all the details and specifics. But with some working on and messing with it, it must have complied, because they were able to go on cutting corn and using the trailer. I happened to run over to the field at just the right time. It’s always good to have a resident photographer for these occasions!

I dislike when I spill something and have to take time to clean it up. Love your photos – the one of Tucker on the corn spill and the close-up of the tools are my favs!
I love the tool one too. I think we’re related! ๐ When I post a photo like that I often think of you and know you’ll see it with the same eye that I do!
