We have a little lamb on our farm.
Just for a couple weeks.
We are baby-sitting or lamb-sitting. Whichever way you want to refer to it. Both terms really do apply, because Frisky is a baby and he is a lamb!
My dearie daughter is pretty much in love. She has been getting out of bed earlier than usual to feed the baby. He is pretty darling and so, so soft. And it is pretty fun to take pictures of the two of them. Hence, the following photographs!
Happy Weekend!
May your weekend involve something you love, people you love, and nice weather with no wind! The wind is whooping way too wildly around our farm today!
What sweet pictures! And sweet memories being made too!
It was really fun to take the pictures and edit them!
Great pictures! I see two “DEAR LAMBS”!!
So precious…Thanks for sharing
Cute! We had friends when I was in high school who had a runt lamb, her name was Annie and she wore diapers in the house. It was like a little puppy, too funny.
I love it! Last spring we had a rejected lamb that became Addie’s best friend. We never tied it or pinned it up…it simply bounded across the yard following our little lady. At night it would curl up right outside our door and if we were gone it would greet us at our car when we returned! Unfortunately it grew up and Daddy thought it needed to go the way of all sheep around here…. 🙁
Better than a puppy! 🙂
We have raised several bottle calves and our kiddos aren’t always pleased with the idea of where the beef in our freezer is from..
Love, love, love the pics! Both of them are so dear!!! You did a good job of photography, too.
I love it! And your photos are GREAT! I want sheep someday…
Oh my word, that is PRECIOUS! I’ve been yearning for a piece of land, for a garden and a well and some chickens. I think i’m going to have to add baby lambs to the list, too!
Baby lambs are terribly cute! When I said that there’s nothing cuter than a little lamb, my farmer husband said, “Oh yes there is-it’s called a white faced baby calf!” 🙂 Cattle would be more along his line than sheep!
Cute!! You are a great photographer!
I think it might be more the photo editing than the photographer! 😉
So, so sweet and beautiful!! And, you are a great photographer!
Thanks! I think photo editing can probably make almost anyone a good phootographer! 😉
Such sweet pictures! I am sure your daughter will be sad when the babysitting gig comes to an end.
She probably will be! She’s already mentioned how fun it would be to have her own lamb! 🙂
B loves the “lamb-ee”! 🙂 might b better than a dog!? or do they eat flowers and dig in yards? Dont blow away~~~~~~~
You could just blow over here and see Frisky today! Literally!! He is ’bout more fun than a dog!
He’s still enough of a baby that he has not bothered yard or flowers. Oh wait. What yard and flowers?!
