Cultivating Beauty ~ I keep thinking about it this month, thanks to the category for July in the Choose Gratitude journal.
Fresh peaches ~ they’ve been so yummy!
Sweet Corn!
From our grassy corn patch. It’s Incredible! Literally. That’s the kind we mostly plant and our favorite.
My sister-in-law shared green beans with us on Saturday from her abundantly producing plants. I so appreciate it!
We planted a few garden things, but nothing has done much except for our corn. I honestly haven’t minded. I do need green beans, but I’m realizing I would not have been up to picking lots and lots of them and the summer is sweeping by all too quickly anyway.
Hello Kitty postcards! Making me happy.
Guacamole. Mmmm. I was struck with a hunger for it.
Hello to That Kitty! He looks like he just managed to jump and make it onto the edge of the washer.
Beaded pull chains ~
R & I’s craft from craft night at the library!
Bitty-bear from long-ago days of little girl play hanging out on Renae’s dressing table. Makes me smile. And I loved how she added her Lilla Rose hairsticks as part of her decor. She recently fixed up the jar of shells from Hatteras.
More creations by Renae ~ pom-pom puppies and duct tape covered boxes.
We saw an ambulance in the Sonic drive-thru last week and it gave us a giggle. We were hoping it wasn’t en route anywhere or else that the patient they were hauling was stable and simply had a craving for cheddar bites or a green apple slush.
Tucker spent some hours in the driver’s seat of the tractor working ground. Time to work, work away!
More work on systems. Too much so this summer.
107 degrees hot. Swimming.
Renae recently learned that a group of cats is called a clowder. Such as a pod of dolphins or herd of cows or a troop of monkeys. Now, when she goes out to care for her cats and kittens, we say she is going to care for her “clowder of cats.” π
We’ve been watering grass and I love looking out the window at the spray of water coming up out of the sprinkler and I love hearing it chkk-chkk-chkking away when I go outside.
New favorite song ~ Greater by Mercy Me. God poured it on me this week.
SSMTΒ for July
Revelation 5:9
And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain and with your blood purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
1 Peter 1:13

Love, love the expression “clowder of cats”. Those Pom-Pom puppies are adorable! Love all the color in your pics. Was that kitty waiting for a certain tractor driver to get home?
I think the tractor driver was home and had deposited Kitty there for a few minutes!
Renae looked up some other animal groups after I posted and she found a zeal of zebras and a parade of elephants and various others! Quite fun to look up!
