Last week~gone already~ now to remember stuff that happened ….
I was inspired by this post called Inspiration vs Comparison a few weeks ago. I may or may not have linked to it previously. I know I thought about it, but not sure if I did.
I have a new name for pop.
I posted this question on my fb page…
Tell me~ what do you call carbonated beverages? SODA? POP? SodA PoP?! Soft drink? This is important stuff, man. 😉
It was fun to read the replies.
Here’s what one gal said and I’m loving this idea…
“I grew up in Australia where it’s called a fizzy drink.”
I told my husband, “Wouldn’t it be so much fun to ask people, Would you like a fizzy drink?” He just smiled. 🙂
Pop over here where you can read all the replies.
We had warmer temps, SUNSHINE, some rain, walking, working on ductwork & vent for garage, played Old Maid, prepared for visitors ~ Grandpa and Grandma and two cousins here visiting!!
~ prayed for friends on a mission trip in Haiti, they were robbed the last night they were there. Thankfully, they were safe. Praise. Praise. Praise. Traumatic, yes. Growing faith, yes. Disappointed to lose camera, tablet, and money, yes. What a time for them. We’re glad they’re home safely and continue to pray for the dedicated people working in missions worldwide.
We started reading The Bronze Bow. We cooked. We worked on cleaning up iron at the farm. We rearranged some more in the garage. We worked on fuel tanks for systems. We worked on blog posts. We played with cousins and had friends over. We kept appointments and made appointments. We attended a farm meeting. We helped out a friend with the ceiling in his shop.
Laughing at this report about one of the horses that was part of the Playmobil play going on in the upstairs~”The blind horse that can’t feel is about to have a baby.” I thought maybe that wasn’t all bad not to be able to feel if it was about to have a baby. The answer was though, “That it wasn’t very good, because the Playmobil people had to keep a really close check on it, because it might just have the baby and wouldn’t know it.” Good point.
We thought about celebrating birthdays this week! My babies……….yep, guess they’ll just always be my babies. My blondie boy and punky doodle. My Tucker~tuck and Renae~J.
Need a new use for a flower pot? O’Malley says this makes a terrifical place to curl up. Poor flowerpot is probably happy to have a use. It never got anything planted in it last summer.
Unwrapping the reveal out of our Strawberry JIC candle ~ {and looking at the cinnamon rolls from the local food store}
Making pizza and birthday cake~
Taking photos of my niece~ she poses wonderfully! Her mama takes lots of pictures.
She was sitting on the stairs resting her feet. Anyway, that was the reply I got when I asked her what she was doing.
May you have a really wonderful week!

The Bronze Bow…good book!
It is! We’re reading it aloud. It’s fun to re-read it. Been a long time since I did, so I don’t remember it all.
Love those photos of my baby! Glad she got to play with Cheyenne!
