Right before we were packing up our bags to head to Ohio in March, this box made its arrival onto my doorstep. Now, I love packages and parcels arriving in the mail or left on my porch by the UPS or Fed Ex delivery people.
I’d been expecting this shipment and I was happy when there it was!!
It was super good timing. Some of the contents were going to work perfectly to pack along on our trip.
When you need gluten-free options, it tends to make you think a little bit more about packing snacks and taking your own food with you. Or I think about it in a different way. I don’t want to bother other people nor do we expect them to change their menus for us. Thus, I think about SNACKS TO TAKE.
Bakery on Main had packed a fun assortment into this big ole box and headed it my way for us to try and take fun pictures and give it a review.
It didn’t take me long to fall for their fun colors and bright packaging
Quite perfect for pictures!
I packed up some of the granola and some of the granola bars to take on our trip. I knew they’d make handy breakfast and easy snacks if we needed them.
First I snapped some pictures!

The granola is definitely a “More please!” in our books! It is yummy. And honestly??? When I pulled out the bags of granola, while I loved the coloring and packaging, I felt a little skeptical about the look of the contents. 🙂 Haha! {But I did!!!}
I was very pleased that despite my skepticism, when I poured it into my bowl and gave it a taste, I quickly dubbed it delicious! Even more importantly, my dear farmer man, who loves gluten, but can’t eat gluten, really, really liked the granolas. Hooray!
Thank-you so much Bakery on Main! For sending us this fun box and for making delicious products. We definitely enjoyed being taste-testers. 🙂
I was delighted to spy a couple of the granolas on our local Dillon shelves last week. I wasn’t sure if it would be available in our small town. I was thinking about asking Dillons to get it! I may still ask them if they can get some of the other products.

I’m really happy to have these gluten-free options for my guy. Oats and instant oatmeal!
While technically oats are gluten-free, they’re often processed with wheat and gluten grains and they pick up bits of it.
Some of our favorite cookie recipes contain oatmeal. Like these Gooey Bars and this Monster Cookie recipe.
The ancient grain instant oatmeals are right here………..
{The description and term of “ancient grains” always makes me giggle!!!}
Granola bars were a quick snack I kept around a lot and my farmer reached for a lot. Enter gluten-free and all of a sudden a lot of your options aren’t going to work for you. I’ve made granola bars some, but it’s so nice to have ready-made bars for quick snacks and lunches for the field.

Needless to say, these bars performed a pretty quick disappearing act. The peanut butter and chocolate were our fave. The bars have a chewy consistency. They aren’t a super soft chewy, but they aren’t crunchy-crisp like some bars.
Matthew likes to mix two or three kinds of cereal and he happily added some of the Bunches of Crunches to his bowl.
Find Bunches of Crunches on this page ~
Tell me ~ have you had any of these yummy foods from Bakery On Main before?
