Obviously if you read my last four posts, we’re in the midst of harvesting our wheat. I wouldn’t want it to last forever, but wheat harvest is an exciting event and time of year.
So, Hello to Wheat Harvest!
Hello to food~fruit cups, crockpot pizza, bran muffins, rhubarb jello, crockpot hominy, filled cupcakes, ham and cheese sandwiches, cornchip salad, strawberry pizza, iced tea, lemonade………..
Hello to mowing that needs done, mulching on the garden that needs finished, catchup and cleanup waiting, ah well…
Hello pretty wheat and flexi!
Hello great big eggs! Kiddos are doing chores for neighbors and “picking” eggs from their chickens. They found two huge ones! Tucker was excited with them. They both contained double yolks.
Here’s one of the huge eggs with the regular sized ones.
Bigger is better this week! Renae took a walk in the woods and brought this big leaf home. Notice the mud spots on her white t-shirt? Her brother took the go-cart through a mudpuddle~on her side. Big grins coming from him during his sister’s relating the happening to me. {Ornery-somehow I was reminded of his father.}
Hello to friends parking their camper at our house while their daddy helps a local farmer during harvest. And hello to finding a……………..

Hello to a mountain of bookwork and bills~glad to have you completed. Hello to milo planted and systems worked on and beans drilled. Hello to Gideon Bible study~enjoying!
Hello to more harvest this week….and I’m sure more food….and more mess….and more dishes and laundry and watering….more LIFE!!!
Wow. Thank you so much for the awesome pictures – I felt like I was experiencing your week! So exciting to see a harvest… both physical and in the smiles of your children.
Thank you for sharing. (there’s a big grin on my face)
Wow, that’s quite a leaf and quite a turtle, lol! This is going to be such a great reminder of your days to look back on when your kids are older!
