It’s a wardrobe day!
Mostly to talk about sandals this week!
I mentioned these shoes in my Yarn Along post this week.
I’m fundraising for Because International and their The Shoe That Grows Program.

I love this idea!
Here’s a little bit of an explanation about the shoe, how it works and how it’s made.
“The Shoe That Grows is a patented design of an innovative shoe that adjusts and expands. It was developed with the help of multiple shoe design firms inspired by feedback from those who need them. The shoe comes in three sizes: youth small, youth large, and adult.
The Shoe is made with the highest quality materials – compressed rubber (similar to that of a car tire), anti-bacterial synthetic, and high grade, tactical Velcro. No mechanical parts of gears to break. Easy to clean (for toe-tally clean feet). Easy to use (and it grows with the toes).
One of the best parts of The Shoe That Grows is how easy it is to transport. It compresses into itself so that you can fit 50 pairs of the small size in a regular suitcase that weighs under 50 pounds. You can take 50 pairs of shoes in a suitcase on a plane. Incredible.”
Renae and I have been wearing the shoes this week and they are comfortable and durable. I think the way they are made to adjust and “grow” is so fantastic!

Renae had on a wristband for Because International beside her Haitian made bracelet.
I really like her cross necklace. We’ve seen several different necklaces made like this with the cross on the chain horizontally. I think it’s a very neat way to make it.
I pulled out my Beach Girl necklace from The Rusted Chain yesterday. {I know ~ beach girl in Kansas! That’s funny, right there.} 🙂 The day, sunshine and weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a fabulous day! One of those kind of days perfectly wonderful for whatever you happen to do!
