We had chiropractor appointments yesterday morning and left the house a little before 8 to arrive on time. Plus, we had to go put gas in our car so it would get us there.
{Besides I know someone was just sitting there thinking, “Now did they need to make any stops before the chiro?”}
THEN, in more edge-of-your-seat news, we dashed into the grocery and filled carts and checked off items on our grocery lists. We also stopped at the greenhouse and grabbed some tomato plants and pepper plants, BeCauSe, almost-out-of-salsa!
I also picked out some flowers for the porch!!! Yay! I love having bright blooms around. Although, you really should feel sorry for my plants. I’m not skilled at getting them to thrive. But I love them dearly till the end.
My daughter and I giggled and giggled the other day.
She overheard a women having a conversation with another lady at the greenhouse. Lady No. 1 was purchasing some beautiful flowers and planters and Lady No. 2 commented on them. Lady No. 1 responded, “Yep. I’m taking them home and they’re going to die.” 🙂 🙂 Haha! I relate too well!! NOT that I want them to die by any means. Oh no! Not at all. BUT, they don’t respond well when you forget to water them and they also mostly don’t love our hot winds. Oh my.
Oh, and don’t you love my people-naming-skills in my story-telling? I could just call them Eugenia and Ameila for the interesting-ness of it, instead of the quite original Lady No. 1 and Lady No. 2.
Let’s just try it.
Eugenia was purchasing some beautiful flowers and planters and Ameila commented on them. Eugenia responded, “Yep. I’m taking them home and they’re going to die.” 🙂 🙂 Haha! I relate too well!! NOT that I want them to die by any means. Oh no! Not at all. BUT, they don’t respond well when you forget to water them and they also mostly don’t love our hot winds. Oh my.
Oh yes. Much better! 🙂
Anyhoo….all that running and errand achieving to SAY, we bopped out onto the porch after we got home and snapped these pictures.
I like the cheery colors in this plaid shirt and in the scarf as well.
I wore my favorite grace necklace along with this lightweight colorful scarf! Love them both. The necklace is from Kansas!! Made over here at The Rusted Chain.
I did the layered look with my Lilla Rose headbands.
My daughter told me she liked the look of more than one and she thought it made them show up better. I think she’s right! They are fun to pair together.
What favorites did you wear this week?

LOVE the layered up headbands! Bling it out I say! I have a new obsession when it comes to clothes. LEGGINGs! Now. I KNOW leggings are not pants – and I’m trying my best to only wear them with dresses and skirts but oh my the LuLaRoe leggings are so comfortable! And cute! And in all seriousness I just can’t make myself wear them with long shirts – it shows too much of the chubby part of my legs and I don’t care for it on me. I don’t mind long shirts with leggings on other people but not for me. I do however have some above knee dresses that I’m rocking with some LuLaRoe leggings! It’s so convenient that my friend and neighbor is the consultant 🙂
I love finding new things that I love! It’s so great to find products, clothes, etc. etc. that just make you so happy and you wish you would’ve found them years ago! I also love supporting individuals and small businesses. Yay for your LuLaRoe discovery! I’ve been seeing the name around the web!
Your layered headbands are super cute. And I’m so glad you told us about gassing up your car, I was wondering if you went straight to the chiropractor or not. That Eugenia gave me some plant care advice….guess I should have known better than to have listened to her.
Thank-you, Jenni! It’s fun to play around with the headbands.
OH NO! Well, now you know. DO NOT take plant advice from Deborah or Eugenia! Hahaheeheegigglesnort.
{And my car is getting low on gas right now, in case you were curious.}
