I’m so in love with these I Love You pillows.
For a couple of reasons.
For starters, I think they’re terribly cute.
For another thing, my daughter created and crafted them.
So, of course!!
They are just so fun to me.
She had the idea and had sketched it out in a notebook and then worked on them here and there as she had time. She was wanting to get them done for Valentine’s Day. I think she finished them up right after Valentine’s Day. She’d thought she would put them in her room somewhere.
Once she had them finished, she wasn’t coming up with the perfect spot in her room.
I’d had to run an errand and was gone when she finished the project.
When I got back home, I noticed the blind in the living room was pulled down and I knew I hadn’t closed it. I didn’t ponder it too long, but went about my business.
Later on, I walked into the living room and lo and behold, propped on the coffee table was the cutest little set of pillows adding to my Valentine decor.
Not finding a fitting place for them in her room, my dearie girl put them on the coffee table for me. She’d pulled the blind down, so she could take a few pictures of them.
I loved the touch they added.
She hand-stitched the letters and heart and then stuffed each little pillow and finished the edges.
I so enjoy seeing the things my kiddos create.
When I put my Valentine’s decor away and spruced up for Easter, I wasn’t ready to just tuck the pillows away. I found a spot for them in our bedroom on my dresser and I love having them there.
They definitely just make me think of my people whom I love!
