April tiptoed in with sunshine and a whole gamut of temperatures with some gusty strong winds dispersed throughout our days for good measure. It’s not quite the April I would order, but there you are.
Chilly or ninety degrees seem to be our options.
I would gladly rejoice in an abundant two inches of rain, but again the Kansas skies refuse.
We have had enough sity-five and seventy degree weather to tease us.
I am ready to throw open windows and do without wind.
On the sweet side, we have a delightful devotional joining us today and I have TWO copies to share with you in a giveaway.
Isn’t this cover fun?
Sugar cubes raindrop across it and they have a sparkle to them that isn’t quite captured in the photos.
This devotional contains ninety passages. Each one is short and filled with questions or thoughts to ponder. The pages also contain fun and wit, Bible verses and Sweet Spoonful endings carrying encouragement or action prompts. This would be a lovely little devotional for summertime…..and just right for three months!
The pages contain cozy artwork with sweet flair.
I like devotionals. I like that they offer words when time is short, they offer flexibility as you can really open and read anywhere, and they combine beauty in their muse.
This one is filled with another of my favorite things ~ quotes on each page prior to the days devotion.
“Even in the poorest neighborhoods you can find a geranium in a coffee can, a window box set against the scaling side of a tenement, a border of roses struggling to live in a tiny patch of open ground.
Where flowers bloom, so does hope.”
~ Lady Bird Johnson
Here’s a blurb about the book from the publisher:
