It’s giveaway time again!
Today, Darby and I are giving away a copy of her book, For the Love of Our Husbands.
Darby guest posted last week and talked about The Number One Cause of Divorce. If you missed reading it, hop over there now and check it out. It’s a good read.
As I mentioned last week, one of my very first giveaways here at A Delightful Glow, was for this book. I still really like mine and use it. I am encouraged by the inspiration of others and the motivation to pray and pour out our hearts to God for our marriages and our families and our children.
Here’s an excerpt about the book from my first giveaway post…..
“This book is written in the format of fifty-two weeks. Each week includes a challenge section, a prayer for yourself, as a godly wife, and a prayer for you to pray for your man every day of that week. Each chapter or week is a couple of pages long.
This book became a book from a resolution Darby made. She decided to become more dedicated to praying for her husband and to pray very specifically every day for him. She e-mailed a small group of friends asking them to join her in her resolution and to help hold her accountable. Darby, then, decided to send out a weekly e-mail with a challenge that would help her improve as a wife and a prayer to pray, each day that week, for her husband, Jason. Her small group of friends quickly grew from a few to around one hundred women receiving the weekly e-mail. From this, it grew into a book containing Darby’s collection of e-mails, to help inspire other women to take the challenge and pray for their husbands.”
So, if you’ve wanted a new book geared towards marriage or know someone you could bless and gift it to, do one or both of these things!
1. Enter to win!
