When my sister and her family were here, we celebrated my middle niece’s birthday.
She chose peanut butter pie and peach crisp for her dessert.
I had pie crusts in the freezer, so it wasn’t too hard to make a gluten-free peanut butter pie and a regular crust peanut butter pie.
I took a few pictures, but not too many. I simply didn’t have time to do much of a photo shoot! That was, ok, though!
We had pie to eat and birthday to celebrate!! 🙂 🙂
For these pies, I baked the shapes separately, and then placed them on the pies after they were filled and finished.
I liked the look of the shapes scattered among the peanut butter crumbs.
