I mentioned yesterday morning as gray and rainy.
WELL.
THIS morning, was definitely all macho-competitive-bring-it about topping yesterday. And it totally did.
It whooped. It gailed. It whistled fiercely. It rained and yammered and all-the-terrifically-fierce things.
A whole lotta years ago, I wrote this post about WIND and my feelings haven’t changed. LET ME TELL YOU. Nope Nada. Still not besties with that wind. Even after, closing-in-on-twenty-two-years-in-Kansas.
BUT, since there’s nothing like curling up with a great book or listening to a beautiful melody on a rainy day, we’ll just do that because……………..
Today, my comrades, I bring you two new introductions in the worlds of music and reading! 🙂
First, the new music! Brand-new songs coming out soon and brand-new-to-me music. I wasn’t familiar with Mack Brock, but I like introductions to new music and artists. I was happy to receive the invitation to share about this extended play album and receive one.

This sweet book about new friends, caring hearts, and the grace of giving to help others, weaves a tale of friendship and compassion. The bright pictures provide a wonderful setting as the story teaches the abundance of gracing others as we ourselves have been showered by God’s grace.
Hope is excited to see Anna, her new friend from school. When she learns that Anna’s family doesn’t have a home of their own to live in, she is filled with empathy, compassion and a heart to share. Hope is thrilled to gift her new rain boots to her friend, and to help make it possible for them to move into their own house.
The end of the book includes a page with a Scripture reading reference and paragraphs about the concept of the Scripture as well as a THINK section with five questions about the story for further in depth examination of the lessons to learn.
