This is a simple paper flower tutorial. I have had fun making some this fall. We’re customizing them for Christmas, using Christmasey colored paper!
You need paper, hot glue gun, glue stick, scissors and embellishments.
You will start with a few strips of paper. To get a good size, I use at least four strips of paper. The paper I’m using is cut from 6×6 squares, thus each strip is six inches long.
Accordion fold them.
Like so.
Using a glue stick, glue all your strips into one long strip. Then glue them together creating a circle.
Now you have an accordion pleated circle!
Flatten your circle out. Sorta like this.
Then bunch it together so the edges touch in the middle and hot glue it to hold it.
Use a button or bead or bell and hot glue it to the center of your flower.
I really like bells for Christmastime!
Make as many as you want! Cut your strips wider or narrower, depending on the size of flower you want.
