I love how the fields of milo look in the late, late summer, turning into fall and then it is autumn with cool mornings and evenings. Milo is itchy stuff to cut and getting it cut can drag out towards the end of the year, but I think the ripening heads are so beautiful! If it works out and I’m at the field with my camera, I find myself snapping pictures of this crop.
Just. So. Pretty.
Genesis 1: 11-13
Then God said, ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.’ And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning – the third day.

Love these photos! Nature is fun to shoot – I like the shots with one thing front and center with the background blurred out like that!
