Hello to dishcloths ready to mail and hello to getting them mailed! 🙂
Hello to fun mail that isn’t just bills or offers or product magazines! Hello to getting a letter from our youngest niece with this cute little Indian, she colored, in it! Hello to his cheery presence on my fridge!
Hello to pie crusts in the freezer and to making cream pie! Hopefully a pie post coming this week.
Hello to Science! Hello to making an atom. Hello to reading our Science textbook! Hello to another use for ear protection. They come in handy for blocking out other sounds, when you’re trying to concentrate on your reading!
Hello to a cuneiform tablet in History! Hello to me forgetting to put it in my post a couple of weeks ago.
Hello to working on pages for a sunshine book for our brother and uncle. We can’t relieve the pain, but we can try to bring some cheer. My mother and sister and nieces in Ohio had the idea and got the book together. Then they sent it to us to add our pages to it. All the kiddos in both places had a lot of fun making it and put a good bit of time and effort into it. It is precious to see them blessing someone else.
Hello to Blue! He was a good sport posing for pictures for uncle’s book. A photo of him was needed to go in the book along with the poem my girlie wrote about him. Another separate post I need to do.
Hello cows! Hello to my husband hauling me and our girl over to the farm one evening, so I could take pictures of the new baby calf that arrived at the beginning of the week. (Photos that didn’t turn out all that well-the ones of the calf himself. He wasn’t in a very good spot for me to get very close to him and the lighting was not grand.) And I really wasn’t into traipsing around inside the cow pen. My man did give me a ride into the pen on the four-wheeler, so I could get a little closer. I had fun taking photos of my daughter, though!
Hello to gymnastics farm style! A feed bunk makes a fantastic beam! 🙂
Hello baby calf! You are a cutie. These cows spent the summer roaming through the pasture around our house and my brother-in-law now has them penned up over at the farm. There should be some more babies joining them soon!
Hello to my farm girl wanting her dad to give her a ride across the dirt/manure pile in the middle of the pen! Her mother wasn’t that impressed with her ride across it while in the pen to photograph baby! I don’t have a hotrod bone in my body. However, as soon as we exited the pen we were met by an excited girlie begging, “Will you take me across? Will you take me across? Please?” Dad was happy to oblige. Very happy.
Hello to a great Bible study group discussion on David and Bathsheba. Hello to celebrating a friend’s birthday-at Bible study and at lunch out on Friday. Hello to kiddos and getting together with friends. One going to a friends and one having a friend over. Hello to happy family days. Glory to God.
What are your hellos this week?

Love seeing pics of the kids and the farm! I really hope Renae wasn’t trying to do cartwheels on the ‘balance beam’ – that looks like a hard landing if you didn’t land right!!
I love the pic of Tucker reading – the knees out in the jeans reminds me so much of my middle girl 🙂
No cartwheels!!!
We’d be happy to see your middle girl…and her sisters and parents!
Looks like another week of blessings. Really enjoy the pics. Smart boy to use those ear protectors! Love the jeans. He must be spending time on his knees! Looks like my granddaughter is still very much the acrobat! Can’t wait to see the pages they did for the book. We had a good week, the highlight was going to Shipshewanna area for 2 days.
Seems like the knees pop through jeans faster than a horse at the Kentucky Derby!
We’re ready for you to come visit.
I wondered how long you were in Shipsy!
What a fun post! I had a friend growing up who lived on a farm. I loved being invited to her home. Love the idea of a sunshine book. What did you do on the pages?
Well, my brother is a Colts fan and likes football, so several of the pages had to do with Colts and football! We put old pictures in the book. The kiddos wrote down some jokes and used some Family Circus. They know their uncle has a good sense of humor! Put in some poems and Scripture verses. The kiddos also cut out some pictures of animals they like from magazines. Just a bit of this and that!
I love getting fun mail. My girls love checking the mail everyday. Cute baby cow.
I always liked checking the mail when I was a kid! I still do…except for the bills part! 🙂
