We have a visitor at our house!
She is a little visitor. She is my sister’s youngest daughter and she lives in Ohio. We are so excited for her to be here because Ohio is a long ways from Kansas!
This is the first time she has come without her parents. Her sisters have both been here by themselves, so it was her turn this time! My kids having been having a ball with her. She is almost six and my kiddos are almost nine and twelve. It has been fun to have her here by herself because when her sisters are here my kids hang out with them since they are very near their ages. Little sister gets left out some and left to her own some. She’s very good about it and plays really well on her own. Still, it is fun to see my kids play with her and have a chance to really spend time with her.
Here’s some things they’ve been doing:
Playing Pollys…
teatime…
running a picture shop…
drawing pictures..
playing on the playhouse roof..
snack time on the trampoline..
Good times ~ Good Memories ~ Blessed!
Oh how I’m missing my girl! But I am SO glad she got to come.
Such a bonding time for her with your kids and you to be there by herself. She will remember it forever I’m sure.
Her 8 year old sister is missing her too. Last night she was sleeping on Becca’s hello kitty pillow. But she is glad too that Becca got to go. The first night she was gone Larke said the prayer at supper and she thanked Jesus that Becca got to go to Kansas. It will be good for them all – they will be so happy to be together again when she gets home.
Tell you kiddos thanks for taking such good care of her:)
We are SO glad she got to come! Mother said she thought Larke would be missing her! She is so funny! Last night one of the kids asked her if she wanted to go jump on the trampoline and she said “Sure!” in a very excited voice! Love hearing it!
Hey, if that trampoline could talk… oh the memories! You and Jill might have made some memories there? Can’t remember how many years we had it.
I can’t remember if you had the trampoline when I stayed with Shelly or not. Our kids have literally spent hours on it already!
What a fun treat…wish my niece and nephew were a bit closer! There is just something special about the children of your siblings (and close friends!_
