WE HAD A PARTY to celebrate teenager birthdays this year and my family from-far-away traveled over ALL THE MILES to be here.
My sister and her husband and girls came out for a quick weekend. My eldest niece needed to return home for classes, but the two youngest girls were able to stay and go home with my parents.
While they were here, a few games of soccer were organized and played.
We were invited to watch and chairs were set up along the sidelines.
Then it was, GAME ON!!
It was an intense game with much running and kicking and blocking and chasing of the ball. We don’t exactly have the best soccer field layout. Some of the terrain was quite uneven and sloped, resulting in the ball rolling away rather often.
We cheered for both sides and I snapped photos in between.
What fun! More memories. Carefree childhood is a happy and blessed gift. We have Playing in the Creek memories over in this post!
Fun memories indeed!
Yes. It sure was!
