Another week! Since I started posting “Hello Monday Happenings”, I am even more amazed at how quickly each week goes skipping by and away and another week rolls into its place to go skipping by equally as fast.
Linking up with Lisa for lots of hellos…
A few things to remember about this past week…A few things that happened…
Hello leaky washing machine! I am glad you are fixed now. I’m also so very glad for a husband who fixed it for me.
Hello Peanut Butter M&M Rice Krispie Treats! You are so yummy.
Hello messy someday kitchen. Hello to choosing tile. Decisions, decisions.
Hello bright, sunny, cheery, sunflowers growing alongside the Kansas dirt roads!
Hello to lunchtime at the field! Hello to taking lunch to my farmer! Hello to a Suburban picnic under a shade tree!
Hello to home decor.
Hello to winning a giveaway from Cheerios and Lattes!

So which tile color did you choose :o) When I mentioned to a friend recently that we were going to paint our kitchen, her reply was “finally???” and then I remembered I’ve had paint chips hanging up in there for about 5+ years now. Oops.
Last week I said hello to CAT tests, another weekend without my husband, and the Adventures of Swiss Family Robinson on hulu.
I got a good laugh out of your paint chip story! 🙂
The tile is a mix of the colors shown in the pic. What we got was called multicolor natural slate. We are going with it, I think. We had it all spread out to look at it for a while and see what we thought.
I remember taking CAT tests myself.
The weekends without your husband don’t sound like the most ideal ever.
I said “hello” to a new external flash for my camera. I have a wedding to photography soon & I’ll need it! I also said “hello” to my son pronouncing banana correctly for the first time. I miss “Nanana” already!
The kitchen looks like it’s coming along great! If you’re choosing tile, the end must be in sight. 🙂
Hooray for an external flash for your camera! I’m wanting a lens for close-ups, but it will probably be a while yet.
Such a mix of emotions. Rejoicing to see our children growing, but missing the things left behind.
The kitchen is coming, but we are down to some of the stuff that we’ll do ourselves so it will probably take a little to reach completion.
Happy week!
I have another week of having fun with family ahead of me! and I MUST get our school letters sent to the county – school starts wednesday here in town and the letters are due then – off to do that now!
Seems like there are always a few “must-do’s” lurking around!!
