I’m totally thinking this yarn spinner is the best! It looks pretty. It keeps my yarn in place. I can wrap up my dishcloth and needles and secure with a flexi, stick it in the yarn and it’s all together and good to go!
Everyday on display when I’m not knitting!
My yarn spinner came from this Etsy shop.
Did you know Living Proof Ministries has an app? And you can stream Beth Moore’s TV sessions with it?
Yesterday morning, I grabbed my yarn spinner with my knitting and watched/listened/knitted to one of the sessions.
I’ve had the app for a while and will watch one of her teachings here and there.
It rather astounds me when I really stop and think about ALL the content and good words and inspiration, technology has placed at our fingertips.
I’ve also been making some pom-poms again, though no pictures this week. Hopefully, next! I forgot to take any. I’m planning to put together a couple more wreaths.
I also have yarn to start some fingerless mitts for a friend who wanted a pair. I need to get them started, though she’s on no timetable. Which is good. It could very likely be fall before she gets them.
I also keep thinking about my cross stitch. But I haven’t pulled it out. It will be a long project…………and will hopefully see a finish, someday-upon-a-time! 🙂
You’ll still finding me reading these two titles ~
When Jesus Was a Green-Eyed Brunette
I’m also reading this book I received for Christmas.
Loving My Actual Life: An Experiment in Relishing What’s Right in Front of Me
It’s a fun and relatable read, written in a bit of a diary/journal format.
The author decides to challenge herself to focusing on one area of her life each month and be more intentional in doing the things that matter to her and her life.
And isn’t the front cover so pretty? I totally go for covers of books! 🙂
I read this fun children’s book. I’d seen Ginny Sheller mention this series several times and requested it at our library.
The Saturdays ~ follow the Melendy’s adventures when they decide to pool their allowances and each take a turn having a Saturday out!
We watched Elf last week. We’d never seen it. When my friend and I were chatting and I commented we’d never watched she told me hers would be with the things I was picking up at her house and we should watch it!
So we did.
And we laughed. I do love enthusiasm. And I do work to live with a spirit of enthusiasm, but it does escape me at times. More than I’d like!
What are you working at this week between holidays?
