What’s the most beautiful part of your life right now?
We gather around white plastic tables with pink carnations centered on each one. Chatter and rustles circle the room as we open brown paper boxes to reveal sandwiches, cookies and fruit. Small bags of chips and water bottles dot the tables too. The rise and fall of women’s voices intertwined with laughter weaves among the lunches as can only happen at a gathering of ladies. Beside the carnations lays a printed notecard containing the question above.
Β “What’s the most beautiful part of your life right now?”
I love this question because
1. it reminds me to focus on what is good and
2. it reminds me to recount the lovely in life and give great gratitude for it.
I don’t have to look very far to find beauty in my life. It’s in memory-making-moments. It’s in walking through my front door. It’s in rhythms and routines with my family. It’s etched in every good day. It’s in freely opening up my Bible for worship.Β
It’s in recounting God’s faithfulness at Living ProofΒ simulcast 2018 by Beth Moore and celebrating the bride of Christ, the wife of the Lamb!
That’s US!!!
Believers everywhere.
Redeeming our brokenness and dressing us beautifully.
.
Isn’t this so our Jesus? He is in the habit of bringing beauty from ashes and turning broken hearts into bountiful hallelujahs!
.
Revalation 21 tells us God is going to dwell with us and live with us and we will be His people and there will be NO MORE death, no pain, no tears, no mourning, no crying for He is making all things new!!!
Hallelujah!
.
Praise Him for all that is beautiful in TODAY, all that is beautiful in His promises and all the beautiful yet to come!
.
Revelation 7:9-10 ~ After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throneΒ and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robesΒ and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
βSalvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.β
And as we drove out your lane Wednesday morning I added one more to the “no mores”!……..no more goodbyes! What a day that will be!
Yes indeed!
