Wardrobe time again!
These pictures were snapped back in May.
I definitely wouldn’t be wearing a lightweight sweater today, even though it IS lightweight. Our humidity is fierce today. Kansas is good at HOT temps, but we often have drier air.
This summer we’ve had a lot of humidity. At least I think so. I’ll take hot and dry any day. I know the soaring-over-a-hundred temps can be fierce, but the pressing-in-of-humidity is wearing! π
I got sidetracked by my sweater chitter-chatter which lead to humidity and temperature discussion.
That shirt??? I’m very happy to have it in my summer wardrobe.

I love my jewelry pieces that contain Scripture promises or reminders or words that matter to me.
I don’t choose them or wear them because I excel at it, but because I need the reminders! Because I want to root these things into my life.

Are you having a good summer? I feel like I’m starting to catch my breath since harvest. And yes, we have been finished cutting for going on two weeks. Hooray! We’re so grateful for a safe and bountiful harvest. God does bless us in so many ways.
I’m longing for a few lazy summer days. It seems like they elude me anymore. I look back to when my children were smaller and it seemed we more often had some long and lazy days. I don’t know what’s different or if memories are coloring the past rosy as they are wont to do. π No, truly life speeds by more today. I know it does.
I love summer and it never lasts quite long enough. {I know. I agree. It does get hot.}
I think that’s all I have today. No awesome stories. No great inspiration. No life-changing or life-altering tales.
