Well, guess what?! I featured this tee in my very second Wardrobe post right Ooooooverrrrrr here.
My Choose Gratitude tee.
I still love it a whole lot!
{My Choose Joy sweatshirt showed up in this post. It was so timely for my post-surgery.}
I grabbed my Violet flexi for my hair.
Don’t miss this! End of summer sale happening at Lilla Rose! Β There are several styles 50% off. Plus, you can choose a free scarf when you place a $60 order! This special is good all through August, but it would be great to pair it with the sale, ’cause that would make it a terrific deal!
Cera is one of the styles selling at 50% off during the sale. I’ve always liked all the colors in it!
I so enjoy all the flowers during the summertime. Even though our hot weather and hot winds give them a run for their money!
Mine are struggling valiantly along.
My Skecher flip-flops are over in this flip-flop post if you want to check them out a bit closer.
I still like them, too. I’m always so very happy to find apparel and shoes and accessories that stays in my wardrobe for a long time.
My skirt is from Style J and I’ve had it since 2011.
I pull it out mostly in the summer.
Are you back in the school swing?
I’ve seen lots of first-day-of-school pictures on fb and Instagram.
We aren’t quite yet. Miss Renae plans to dig back into the books next week and Mr. T will the beginning of September. He’s been logging a lot of hours in the tractor and putting in “schooltime” in the Ag department. π
I’ve been rather weary in some ways this week. Β There has been a lot of happy woven in my week as well.
I posted this on IG Wed evening with a picture of my laundry basket and wool dryer balls from Wednesday’s Yarn Along post ~
The Tupperware container of pickles crashed from my hands this evening. As it landed and skittered to a stop, juice spread quickly across my kitchen floor, creating a huge, sticky mess. I was tired anyway and it made me quite crabby and grumpy.
I wiped it up, feeling very sorry for myself. I felt tired of life and tired of messes. All the neatly done so quickly becomes undone. And needs done again.
“Sticky, pickle juice is such an interruption,” I fumed to myself. Right on the heels of this came the poor-me thought that, “AND I DON’T EVEN LIKE PICKLES!!!”
It was really shaping up to be a good pity party, I’d invited myself to.
And then I had to go and remember how thankful I am for a kitchen floor and how grateful I am to even have sweet pickles to drop on the floor and how glad I am for food in our cupboards and refrigerator and how delicious the fresh peach tasted I’d eaten earlier and that I’d received a happy email and how good HOME is.
My crabbiness dissipated and I cancelled the party and watched it melt away without so much as a sticky residue left behind. And as this Wednesday winds down, I’m sharing this homey picture from Yarn Along today, and wishing empty laundry baskets and squeaky clean floors for you! And even if it isn’t that way in your home right now, it’s still home and home is happy and it is ONLY PICKLE JUICE, after all.
My wish for your weekend is clean floors and rest if you are weary! π
Did you see the Family Christian giveaway that started yesterday? I’m happy to get to share it!
