I hop over to Lisa-Jo’s blog to see what the writing prompt for Five-Minute Friday is.
TOGETHER.
When we’re together.
Those are the first words to pop into my mind. I’m thinking, thinking, what song? what song? Thanks to internet and search engines, my fingers quickly type in the words and look it up and then I remember.
Courageous. The song from Courageous. I can not watch that part of the movie and not cry. Every time I cry. Because it’s just too real to my mother heart. And tonight I cry because I have friends who said good-bye to their adopted son this week when he left life and “together” with them here.
It hurts and there aren’t words when accidents happen. There’s only Jesus.
Separation through death hurts. It’s so final. For a while. For a while.
We’re going to be together again. Death will not win. Satan will not win.
Together with Jesus!! Dancing with Him.
Tears come and we mourn and when people we love die, we miss them for the rest of our lives. We just do. We miss together.
But together is coming! It’s coming!! Jesus is coming back and bringing together forever.
Hallelujah to staying with Jesus forever.

Oh what hope! To be together, forever in heaven – FOREVER! No more good-byes! I can’t wait! It’s what I wrote on too! 🙂
