An angel told Mary that she was going to have a special son from God. Then the angel went and told Joseph. Then Joseph got upset because-ย well I’m notย sure why- and then they got married.
Then Caesar Augustus charged taxes and everybody had to go where they were born. So Joseph and Mary got all their stuff packed and went to Bethlehem for the taxes. And they needed a place to stay. So they searched, like, all Bethlehem. But then they found a manย that said there was a stable. So there in a manger, er, a feeding trough, I guess, baby Jesus was born.
ย And on the hill there were shepherds tending their flocks by night and behold an angel came to them and told them do not be afraid for baby Jesus was born and this will be aย clue to you-he was wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Then a multitude of angels began to sing glory to God in the highest and on earth, peace and goodwill. And so they went and seen baby Jesus and then they went and traveled everywhere telling about the good news, right?
And in the east three wise men were following a star to see God’s king, er, to see baby Jesus. And when he was about two or three years old they got there and presented their gifts to him. But then they went away really fast because Herod was wanting to kill baby Jesus. Fortunately he did not kill baby Jesus for a long time.
