Hello Flintstone mugs adding a special and bright spot on my windowsill! My Grandmother had a set of Flintstone mugs like this and we loved using them when we went to visit. She went home to Jesus in December. These aren’t her mugs, but they remind me so much of how we loved using one when we ate at Grandma’s house. I found these on ebay and I’m enjoying the fond memories they evoke. There was a family auction the beginning of April, to sell her things. We weren’t able to go, but my mother made some purchases for me. I knew there were several of us grandchildren that would want the mugs, so I didn’t even leave a bid for them. I like that they remind me of Grandma’s house and drinking milk out of them, but I’m fine with them not being the exact ones she owned. There are two more mugs too-Pebbles and Bam-Bam. Grandma had all four. If I find a good price on ebay sometime, I may add them to these two.
Hello yummy breakfast!
Hello screen door! I am in love. My farmer-turned-carpenter and his son put it up for me one evening while my girl and I were cleaning. We’ve had it for a while, but just hadn’t installed it. I’m so excited!
Hello to loaded up and trucking! Another load of hay leaving for its destination!
HELLO (IN) REAL LIFE MEETUP! So much fun! You can read about the one I went to last year here. (In)courage is a neat community.
There were six of us and it was so much fun. I’m definitely a small group person, and I really enjoyed chatting with these ladies. Three of them were at the meet-up last year and two were “newbies” and so fun to meet!
You can meet this year’s host, Lisa, over at Life is Crazy Beautiful.
You can meet Sarah at All Manner of Inspiration.
You can meet Chelsea at Stay at Home{Made} Mom.
You can meet Amy at Whole Mama.
Elizabeth closed her blog a few years ago, so I’m not forgetting her and you can meet her in my photo above!
Hello packing snacks and getting ready to go sleep out in the topper like my son and his friend did here. I was once again, quite happy to snuggle down in my nice, cozy bed.

Just love seeing how your week unfolded. What a beautiful rainbow. So neat that you found those Flintstone cups. They so look like Grandma’s house. Will be so fun to give you the things from the auction—-hint, hint! Come and get it! 🙂 So love seeing pics of my grands. I MISS them. Your Real Life Meetup gang looks like they know how to have fun. And the new screen door is the best. Don’t think I would be up for sleeping in the topper, but I’m sure it was fun for the kiddos.
It sounds fun to come get our stuff!
The meet up was very fun! {Whisper~More fun than last year. And I really enjoyed it too.} It was a good bit smaller and I like small groups. We had a longer time frame and with a smaller group it felt like I got to chat with everyone more.
Love that new screen door! And just curious, did you find that pot of gold at the end of the beautiful rainbow?
Thanks! I love the door too!
I’d like to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! 🙂 I know several ways I would put it to use!!
Fun to see your screen door installed! And I love the photos of your man and the kids looking out at the rainbow.
Hoping spring has arrived for good for you now. Didn’t know you did another meet-up – how fun!
I love the photos of my family and the rainbow too. And love the installed screen door. Now, we can look for some shutters and hardware for the garage doors. We need some accents and my farmer thinks so more than I do. 🙂
The meet-up was super fun!
Love the screen door, a wood screen door is on my list of “wants” – love the way they sound.
I love the way they sound too!
*secret* My screen door is vinyl instead of the “real” wood we’d like to get. Maybe someday. They are much more expensive!
I have no idea what a topper is (or can’t remember) but I’ll bet they had a blast! We used to sleep outside under the stars when I was a kid and we loved it.
Loved all your pictures. It was in the 20’s and your daughter had short sleeves on? You guys must be used to the cold. I’d be freezing, lol!
Which one were you in the picture. I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen a picture of you before! 😉
Thanks so much for linking up to the “Making Your Home Sing Monday” linky party today! 🙂
It wasn’t 20 out when my daughter was sitting outside! 🙂 We got up to 28 degrees one morning.
The topper is an old one meant to go on the back of a pickup. Yes, they thought it was great!
I’m in the white vest. I don’t love pictures of myself and I’m usually the one snapping pictures! There are photos of us on my about page.
