Today I have a book to prepare us for Easter.

Journey to the Cross contains forty devotionals from the (in)courage community. I’m excited about this book during the spring and Easter season. It would work well for Lent.
I appreciate focusing on the Advent season and finding a book, devotional, or study specific to Christmas. Doing this for Easter is equally inspiring.
The devotions in this book are a mix of Scripture verses or readings, devotions, prayers, and questions to consider. The questions are followed by space and lines to journal your reflections and answers. The book is a lovely hardcover and has its very own ribbon bookmarker! 🙂 {All the love for ribbon bookmarkers. If I ever have any say or sway or bidding in a book design, I would definitely include several ribbon bookmarkers!!! 🙂 🙂 }
Journey to the Cross is accented with pretty artwork throughout. In my opinion, it’s a book which I will love to own AND will also make a beautiful gift.

I very much like books in this style. Devotional and thoughtful, providing space to sit in stillness and ponder a bit deeper.
A quote from the book ~ “God will forgive us every time, and no matter what, He will LOVE us with an unfailing love. No strings attached.
If you’ve been considering a devotional for the Easter season, browse this one! It may be what you’re looking for!
Thanks to B&H/Lifeway for providing a review copy!
Bookish questions for those of you who ask my opinions about books…………. {a slightly different twist than a book review itself}
Will you find this book on my bookshelves?
Yes. Love this style!
Would I give this book as a gift?
Yes. It’s a beautiful and inspiring gift book!
Am I the target or ideal reader for this book?
As a woman seeking encouragement and thoughtfulness, I am a good target reader for this book.
If this book isn’t quite for me, does that mean it isn’t for you?! 🙂
Nope. Absolutely not. 🙂
We all have different seasons of life. We have struggles and hardships. Certain styles appeal to us. There are words that deeply resonate with each one of us. I have certain genres I don’t read. There are wildly popular bestsellers which I never read because they are not my choice of style. Ok. Enough words. Point made, I think! Haha! 🙂
{However, if you know your reading style is very similar to mine, then you will likely enjoy the same books I do.}
