On this fine Thursday morning, I am very, very excited to bring you a
GIVEAWAY!!!
We’ve been having beautiful spring-time weather and the flowering trees are starting to bloom and daffodils are popping up and it’s just lovely…though it feels a wee bit early!!
It’s a good day for a giveaway! 🙂
Thanks to Darby Dugger for sharing with us!
I talked about my leather wrap bracelet, that is a ready reminder to pray for my husband, in a couple of my wardrobe posts. In this one over here………..and this one over here…………….
I do really like it! So much.
And when I first read Darby’s book a few years ago, I instantly liked it as well.
It is a compilation of devotions and prayers about marriage with specific prayers for your husband. There are 52, one for each week, if you want to use it that way.
She’s given away a copy of her book a couple of other times for us at A Delightful Glow.
And Darby also shared this guest post with us a while back.
Today she is offering one reader a copy of her book and one of these pretty prayer bracelets!
You can enter on the Rafflecopter below.
Thank-you, Darby!!
Find Darby on her blog over here….
And you can find the book and bracelet in her store over here…
Blessings!

I can’t wait to read
I just bought a coloring book journal yesterday!! It was a fun way to start my day this morning 🙂
That sounds fun!
I’m super excited about discovering this website and ministry in praying for our husbands. Struggling with this and frankly with my marriage period so hoping God uses this powerfully in my life!
Prayer changes things. I believe it more firmly the older I get. 🙂 Prayers for you and your husband. I just started reading Fervent by Priscilla Shirer. It is about prayer and prayer strategies and it is very good.
I haven’t used a prayer journal but find myself praying for others while I’m cooking and baking, especially when making tortillas. Walks are also a quiet time to think of those in need of prayer.
I like to pray when I walk, too.
Thank you so much for encouraging us to be better wives. God bless you!
Our daughter is getting married in May, it’s an exciting time.
Blessings on this special time in your lives!
Mornings before everyone wakes up is my favorite time to pray, with the sunrise, outside if possible. Thank you for the giveaway! It would go great with the For the Love of Our Husbands devotional! 🙂
oh this is wonderful, i have felt recently that i should be helping the younger women in our church to learn how to pray for their husbands. I can go off of what I have learned over the years praying for my husband. But this would be such a wonderful help. I like to pray in the mornings after i have woken up and ready to face the day. It is usually in the front room where it is nice and quiet. Our couch is old and comfy. And the cat sits next to me. I can see and hear the birds outside.
Sounds like a lovely, comfy, homey spot! Blessings to you!
I pretty much pray all the time these days and I have really been learning how to pray over scripture more. My favorite times to pray are when I am in bed before falling asleep and in the mornings before I get out of bed.
I want to grow in the praying Scripture strategy.
Blessings to you!
This is adorable and rustic. Love!
thanks
My favorite time to pray is when my kids c are sleeping and it’s quite for a moment
I know. Quiet time can be wonderful and offers better focus.
I dont really have a special place I just seem to pray when and where I feel a need or reason to pray….
Anywhere works!!! 🙂 I believe in the power of prayer.
Great Blog and thanks for sharing. I believe in the power of prayer anywhere and anytime.
I like to pray when I’m going to sleep.
Pray anywhere I can.
I follow both accounts on Instagram as Angelasnoozy, which is different than my username on the giveaway form, but there is no box on the giveaway form to leave my username for Instagram!
My favorite time to pray is in the morning when it’s still quiet around the house, & before bed!
I usually pray right before I go to sleep
I had a horrible first marriage I prayed for the Lord to send me my soulmate. He sure did my husband loves the Lord and always prayers with me daily or more. I try to always remember to pray for my husband as he leads and supports our family. Thank you for the chance.
I like to pray early in the morning before anyone else in the house wakes up.
I don’t have a prayer strategy per se. I pray in my head without ceasing. Usually for more patience at work! *LOL* kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.
I love this! I pray over my husband at night all the time when he’s sleeping (he goes to sleep early).
