My knitting needles have gone missing…………not really…………..they just haven’t been picked up by me in a number of days!
My projects in January and February have been an interesting mixture of carpets torn out upstairs, on-going sorting and organizing, books, pictures, and a couple of parties thrown in!
I have two lovely books to talk about today!
{Oh, and the previous three posts are giveaways AND they’re still accepting entries, so go and enter!!! 🙂 One is for the 316 Story Bible, one is for The DIY Home Planner and one is for a bag from Thirty-One! Woot!Woot!}
The first one is Simple Organizing.
I have several photos for you today of this fun, fun book from Melissa Michaels of The Inspired Room. I received a copy of her Simple Gatherings for Christmas. These books are simple. I like their style. They’re not super thick, but they’re full of inspiration, ideas and pretty pictures! She also has Simple Decorating. I don’t have a copy of it, but certainly have it on my wishlist! 🙂
I’m all-the-happies-and-hoorays to be part of the launch team for Simple Organizing. If you’ve read my blog often, you’ve likely seen me talk about Melissa Michael’s other books. They’re among my faves. {I have a lot of faves, actually, when I think about it.} 🙂 I had a giveaway for her book Love the Home You Have way back in the days of 2015. She has a fun coloring book too!
Here’s the format of what you’ll find in Simple Organizing. Pages with fun tips and ideas for you to implement in your home and find what works well for you and your space!
My other recent book is this cute, little board book from B&H/Lifeway to review.
I happen to think it’s darling!
Sweet baby animals, bright, happy colors and it rhymes!
It’s also touchy-feely with soft flocking on some of the animals and the edge detail of the book is so much fun too, with its shapes and overlaying edges.
These pictures give a pretty good overview because it’s not a very long book. 🙂 I always loved board books for my small people!
I still love them! They’re so cute. And I have little nieces and nephews to read to and gift books to.
This book would be great to tuck into a baby gift or in an Easter basket!
What are you reading?
