I have a journal to share with you guys! {I’m a bit of a journal nerd. And I love keeping a gratitude journal.}
This journal is geared for kids.
Meet the Questions and Answers for Kids journal!
Freely Give Co. sent me this journal to review. {thank-you, thank-you!!!} When I opened the email asking if I was interested in reviewing it, I was instantly captivated by the fun stripes and colors.
The pictures don’t show it so well, but Questions and Answers is printed in shiny foil letters that shimmer and shine in the light. It always makes me happy when fun books are also pretty books. 🙂
This journal made me think of the Doodle books my kids had when they were younger. They’re super fun for kiddos who like to draw.
This journal is formatted to work through in a year answering a question each day. THEN, you do it again. And again!!! Three years in total. You’ll get to watch how your child’s answers change as they grow. {And they will too!} It’s always fun to look back and remember and this journal provides a fun prompt for thinking, recording and discussing. Some of the questions could be a great launch pad for introspection and deeper discussion, but they can also be answered fairly quickly if that’s how you roll!
I love the idea of a three-year record and comparing answers from a year or two ago!
Here’s a look inside at some of the pages and questions.
Each day has a Bible verse inked at the bottom.
This could be a fun project to do together with your child or children or it would be terrific for any who like to write and journal.
It could be a pretty cool addition to your homeschool curriculum and provide writing prompts, plus create a fun record to read back through.
Check out these new pens that just arrived at The Daily Grace Co! I’m crushing on all the colors and I think they look pretty cute with the Q&A journal! {They’re 20% off right now with code HELLOSPRING.} They list the fruits of the Spirit on them.
I’ve been re-reading since 2018 started. I re-read Chasing Slow and I’m currently re-reading Audacious and Lizzy & Jane. It appears this is going to be my year of re-reads. I wasn’t planning it. I have an on-going list of want-to-reads and I’m always adding to it.
But I found myself pulling out these favorites again. Now, I’m purposefully thinking about re-reading at least ten favorites because it would be fun to list them all in a Ten on Tuesday post this fall. 🙂
Check out the pattern mixing chapter and cut-out for The DIY Home Planner. If you missed my post about the planner, you can hop over here and read it.
Ideas for pattern mixing to start you brainstorming!!!
Use your own swatches and designs or play around with these cut-outs to get you started!
I’ve been thinking about patterns and curtains and blinds a bit. We painted my son’s room in January and redid the floor. His windows need blinds or curtains. I browsed online a little and then I took a total aside and started looking for new curtains for my bedroom. I {mostly} still like the ones I have, but wouldn’t mind updating them. I have a few ideas turning and it involves mixing more than one pattern. It may have to brew for while though……..I really need to shop for other things and, oh yes, my son’s window treatments, that technically started this whole thing! Ha!
This planner is so cheery and fun!
As always, I’d love to hear what you’re reading or creating, if you have a few minutes to tell me in the comments or shoot me an email!
Have a great week!
