I love the mud drawing that I found on my sidewalk artistically sketched by the elements of nature. It has intrigued me. I think it is beautiful and it portrays an essence of farm and my children.
Muddy prints penciled and outlined from the muddy boots that had been dropped there by my son.
His sister’s boots that he wore to go help Daddy work on the irrigation system. They came home wet and muddy. And hot, even though they were working on a watering system. This is where the muddy boots got dropped and laid on their sides. Thank goodness for being able to leave the mud outside!
After my husband picked the boots up and took them inside, I noticed the prints they left behind. And I went to find my camera to capture the image. Just simple muddy prints, yet I find them unique and a small detail in life that captured my attention and begged for me to take the time and notice. Notice the beauty in the very, very simple. Beauty in what is not beautiful. Mud is usually not exactly beautiful, unless you are small and see the beauty of playing in it. Mud doesn’t fascinate me, but the prints it left, they did.
I’ve enjoyed walking by and seeing the prints. I’ve enjoyed taking pictures and had a bunch of fun with editing them.
What simple, unlikely thing have you rejoiced in recently?

That is totally cool! So glad you took pics 🙂 That would be cool to blow up and frame!
It would be neat to frame!
That is so cool. Almost like the handprints parents make of their children in clay, but spontaneous, like a gift.
I know. I’ve really liked it!
Beauty in nature! Love it!
