That is why for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
Consider it great joy my brothers whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete lacking nothing.

Last year in January, I joined in at The LPM Blog for Siesta Scripture Memory Team. I’d loosely done it in other years, but for 2015 it was one of my priorities.
Then, I posted my two memory verses for each month in one of that month’s Memoir Monday posts.
My spiral is stained and dog-eared. Not all the verses are completely and totally stamped in my memory. But each verse means much to me. Each verse speaks to me. Each verse has a thread running from it right on to the next verse and right on to the end. Each verse compelled me and called me and spoke life over my 2015.
I decided a good bit back, that at the end of the year, I wanted to gather all my verses together here.
If you have a few minutes, leave me a comment and tell me if any of these verses are special to you. And tell me if you have a current Bible study or Bible study plan you are working on!
I love how God’s Word is for all and how a verse can mean so much to me and someone else can cling to the same verse for a completely different reason or season of life.
Did you join in SSMT? I’d love to know.
My spiral isn’t going by the wayside just because it’s now 2016. I want to get some of these last verses memorized more fully. I’ll jot some more verses in it. I’ll get it a little more dog-eared.
I’m so grateful for the Word.
I’ll continue to pen a few things into my Gratitude Journal each day. Some days I don’t get it done, but when I pick it up again, I just fill it in and catch up.
I’m planning to start the Open Your Bible Study January 7th. Go over here to the Lifeway Women Blog for details about joining in for this study and to enter your name and email to receive a reminder each week about the next session.
