Pictures and pictures and pictures!
I made a stuffed sweet pepper recipe that sounded fun to try. The peppers were so pretty as they patiently waited to get filled with cream cheese.
Modern day pool player.
Handy dandy holder.
I scattered my Easter treat for my man on the dresser top….because candy is so pretty! Ferrero hazelnut is hard to beat.
THAT Kitty. He just prowls around and you never know where he’s gonna show up!
We made snacks and fun treats for Easter week and for a brunch we hosted.
Baby niece M. turned two!!! She and her parents came to visit and we had a little birthday celebration for her at Grandma’s house.
Setting up for Easter brunch~
Two dollbabies in this picture.
It simply doesn’t get cuter than this. THOSE PONYTAILS!!! So, so darling.
“Want to hold the baby.” Two seconds later ~ “I done.” So funny! It takes longer to get the baby on her lap and arranged than the amount of a time the two-year-old actually holds the baby! 🙂
Once again, it doesn’t get cuter than this! Tiny blonde braids.
So pleased to be two! And all these funny-looking aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents cheering you on in blowing out those candles!
More decor and Easter and brunch photos!
Matthew’s cough still comes and goes, but he’s feeling much better. Quite glad.
We tilled the garden and mowed and blogged and scrambled eggs and flung windows wide open and worked on irrigation lane and cleaned the oven and ordered a rack adjuster for the top rack of the dishwasher because one of mine broke {insert my disgust at how cheap so many of our modern things are made} and made soft pretzels and cleaned and worked on bookwork and went to pick up a fertilizer spreader and made a pompom Beagle puppy and finished Science in school and watched some more Anne of Green Gables.
We attended Matthew’s great-aunt’s funeral. We were happy she could go home to Jesus. She was ninety-two and had Parkinson’s. She’d lived and been cared for at a rest home for a few years. I don’t think she was unhappy, but she couldn’t do much and really didn’t have quality of life. Yet, all in God’s timing and hands!
Homeschooling mamas and kiddos!!! Do you have a favorite Spelling curriculum?
My quote of the week ~ If what you do doesn’t matter to you, it’s really not going to matter to anyone else.
I am seriously crushing on this happy mail over here. It is so cute and such fun ideas! When I was a teen I did a lot of letter writing and sent lots of cards to friends here and there and to one certain boyfriend in the land of Kansas. I don’t so much anymore, but I still try to some, because handwritten notes are fun and happy mail is the best and I still love cards and paper. Towngirl also introduced me to Illustrated Faith; an idea I also love. I’m not much of an artist, but I do like to letter, though mine comes nowhere close to the best of the best. The Illustrated Faith idea also introduced me to some new accounts on Instagram. So awesome and inspiring!
Happy new week. Happy April.
