Behold, he comes riding on the clouds, Shining like the stars, At the trumpet sound!!
Twilight is stealing over the sea, Shadows are falling dark on the lea..
Mr. Snapper Turtle wandered by and managed to fall in our window well.
I doubt he really meant to end up there.
That meant the kiddos got to play animal rescue and they worked and arranged and herded him into our pet carrier and carried him off to the woods, where they released him, so he could resume his wanderings. Hopefully this time, his path leads away from places he can’t climb out of.
The week went by~
Renae helped do some baby-sitting on Monday and Tucker had friends play for a couple of hours.
I played with our baby niece on Tuesday. She was quite eager to take the Smarties I offered when I got to her house. She is such a fun age!
Matthew spent some hours in the tractor and the field.
I was really tired on Wednesday. I think the last three weeks were catching up.
Thursday was an at home all day day!!!
Friday was a massage appointment, grocery shopping and fellowship with friends in the evening.
Saturday I rode along with Matthew on an errand in the morning and in the evening we went to a hog roast at the neighbor’s. They had a baby that was turning one! She was born about three months early and they had a pretty big party that included their friends and neighbors from around. The food was delicious! So glad for them that their baby girl is doing well.
The kiddos did chores over the weekend for some of our neighbors.
