Good morning Monday! And hello to ONE HUNDRED Memoir Monday posts. It’s a milestone number for sure! 🙂
Renae was part of a Christmas pageant over the weekend. It is presented every two years in one of our neighboring towns. We’ve attended it quite a few times over the years and Renae had thought for a long time it would be fun to be IN it. This year she got to and was thrilled. She really had a fantastic time.
Friday evening Renae and I took a stroll through our park. They deck it out with Christmas lights each year. We walked through the lights, took some pictures and then headed for her first dress rehearsal for the pageant.
I had another Lilla Rose craft show event on Saturday and Renae had dress rehearsal on Saturday morning and the first performance Saturday evening. It made for a full, but fun, weekend! Matthew ran Renae to her rehearsal and then did errands in town, swinging by the craft show and delivering tacos and Pepsi to me before heading back to pick Renae up. Tucker went to Grandma’s for the day and helped them clean up broken and fallen branches from the ice storm.
We got most of our Christmas decorations put up last week. It’s so fun! I love nativities. There are so many pretty ones. A couple of years ago, Renae and I toured a nativity collection set up in the basement of a local church. There was such a unique variety!
We are eagerly reading each chapter in Ishtar’s Odyssey!
Matthew did a bit of work on the generator and tucked it away until the next ice storm! He and Tucker also started in on another project in one of our little buildings at the farm. They cleaned it out and started setting up shelving for a better organized storage area.
One of our trampoline legs had issues and the menfolk welded and worked on it and got it fixed up as good as new.
Our weather forecast for this week is projecting 60 degree weather all week! We will happily take it.
A great new week to you and wishes to embrace and enjoy this Christmas season!
