Legos are pretty much Tucker’s main thing. He builds and builds and builds some more. He kept rolling around ideas and debating what he wanted to do for his birthday cake this year. He finally settled on “Lego Themes”. He simply set up a board with figures from a variety of themes that Lego makes. Then we made cupcakes and green icing. {Green has been his favorite color for always, I think.} We put the cupcakes in a tray and put the board on top. I thought it turned out really neat and it was easy. I especially liked the look of it with the candles all lit up.
Tucker decided to wear his Fitzgerald jersey, which was quite appropriate for a young man turning eleven! 🙂
He has inherited his dad and Grandpa Phil’s love for steak! These were our last steaks in the freezer. Glad to soon be getting our freezer beef restocked. I’ve just used all my hamburger up recently too. We only have a couple of roasts left.

Pretty fitting gift for a Lego loving boy! These books are awesome. Tucker got The Lego Book for Christmas. He has spent a lot of time pouring over all of these books already.
And as a side note and fun fact, when I counted the photos in this post, I had uploaded eleven! Without even planning it. Is that cool or what?! 😉 heehee!
We thank God for this {not-so-little-anymore} boy of ours!

That cake turned out great!!!! Happy Birthday to your son!
Thanks! I really liked it. I haven’t been online a lot, but you, Rebecca and all your family have been in my prayers!
I love that not-so-little-anymore guy so much! I want to reach through my screen and hug him! Time for a trip to Kansas 🙂 We are still hoping to make it the beginning of July. If not then it will have to be August. Somehow coming to Kansas in the hottest part of the year sound rather appealing right now as I sit here listening to the wind howl and knowing the temp is below 20 outside today.
I love the legos, love the cake, love it all. Hug him for me!
