Tyndale sent me these Bibles to review. There are so many lovely details and features to bless our study time in the Word. As I grow older and as I am moving through middle age, I appreciate beauty more all the time. It is not something I take lightly.

Perhaps it isn’t a necessity of life, and yet I believe it is too. It breathes life into our souls.
Beauty flows from the very Creator nature of God.

Honestly, both cover options are wonderful.

I can’t quite choose a favorite. When I saw the Bible in photos before I received them, I was drawn to the watercolor. When I opened the box and pulled them out, the gold shouted happy at me.

Suffice it to say, for my personal taste, I am happy with either/or.
The watercolor floral is flexible while the gold is hard.

I adore this detail. The gold cover edition has pages tinged in the watercolor floral while the watercolor cover shines gold edges. Isn’t it a neat contrast?

Let’s look inside! We’re going to find a variety of pages highlighting the text. Verses and pictures ready to color. Prayers. Space to write out our own prayers. Beautiful vellum art pages with thoughtful quotes.

As a lover of color, I thoroughly appreciated all the colors incorporated into this version.

I kept opening pages and turning to the next one and thinking, “Oh, I should photograph this one too!” 🙂

Curling up with my favorite gold-dotted blanket, a mug of something hot, and a basket of markers and sketching out a bit of Bible journaling sounds especially alluring today. We woke up to wintertime! It’s twenty-five degrees out my windows with a skiff of snow along the ground. Just enough to frost patches of white here and there and throw out a Christmas-y feel. I’ve probably noted gratefulness for Cozy Home a dozen times this morning.
