I really think that a row of hay bales was truly meant to be a playground. They seem to attract children. I’ve watched my own kiddos play on hay bales many times and I’ve seen other photos of other kids playing on hay bales and I’ve watched many kids having fun on the hay bales at the pumpkin patch.
It’s just one of the perks of farm life for kids, I think! A hay bale jungle gym. My kiddos have even had picnics perched on top of the bales. Purely fun.
Making memories as I post these. The moments fly….
What a blessing it is to be a carefree kid! Not every kid has been so blessed.

Love the pics. Third one is my fav. Is it a race? Fourth has an interesting background. Is that a special effects? The last one runs a close second to my fav. Love the blue sky, too. October’s bright blue weather! So fun to see them having fun. God is so good.
I can’t remember if they were racing. Yes, the fourth picture is photo effects-supposed to look old. I’ve been trying to learn my Photoshop program and had fun messing with these.
Looks like fun! A few of my boys say they’re afraid of heights…wonder if they’d get up there?
It’s not that high and it’s really fun, so I’m betting they would. My daughter is like me and doesn’t like heights, but she loves running on the bales.
Looks like something my kids would like! And I like what you are doing with photoshop 🙂
