A year ago today, I was headed off for surgery.
Part of me can’t believe the year has swung around already. Part of me feels like it’s been a long, long year.
I’m still so grateful for people with medical interest and knowledge and the skill to help those suffering.
How do I feel now at a year from my surgery?
I DO feel better.
I still have nerve pain and my feet bother me. It takes a loooooong time for nerves to heal.
I really feel a lot like I expected from what I’d read and heard from other people and from the doctors. Yet, I won’t deny that I did hope to be more pain-free by now than I am.
While it is slow, I can tell I do keep slowly healing.
I feel stronger and when I stop and think back, I am able to get more done in a day and I don’t tire out quite as easily.
I’m so thankful!
ALL RIGHT. That’s my health update and quick jaunt down memory lane.
Now, LOOK!!!!
I’m so very excited to celebrate my one-year-surgery-date with this WonderFuL giveaway!
