Souls are shaped in the common moments of life, the daily stuff of memories. ~ Sally Clarkson, The Life Giving Table
On our calendars, on December 25, Christmas, we celebrate Christ’s entrance into the world and even more we get to embrace Christ in our every day lives every single day!
Christ cares about our “common” moments.
About all aspects of my life.
He sees when I’m crushed in spirit and He is close by to comfort. {Psalm 34:18}
His presence calls out joy and life for me! {Psalm 16:11}
I can pray to Him anytime, all the time, in all my circumstances. Thanking Him, praising Him, for the small, the significant, the defining and the daily. For His steadfast love unto me! {1 Thess 5:18} {1 Chronicles 16:34}
This morning, as we enter the final Christmas countdown, I’m grateful for the gift of giving…to my family…to friends…to those in need.
I’m grateful for the gift of prayer….as communication with my Christ Jesus King…as something you can do for anyone…as something anyone can do!
I’m grateful for the gift of vision…for physical eyes to see the beauty of this world, the places I can help and the faces of my best-loved people…for heart vision to follow the dreams and directions God plants in me and draws forth…and for Life Moments Vision in remembering the soul-shaping and memory making moments given each of us!
Christmas is coming! Hallelujah!
What are you counting grateful for this Saturday morning?
