Well, January just tore on by! Ever since Thanksgiving our days have definitely done that. My sister and her family were here for Thanksgiving, {yay} I had two craft shows with my Lilla Rose, then surgery, then Christmas celebration here and traveling and Christmas celebration in Ohio, home again and then Matthew and Renae headed to Haiti.
This week we celebrated our kiddos birthdays and we now have TWO teenagers! I think this signifies that I am officially middle-aged! π
I’ve been doing some updating on my blog and most of it is done!!! I’m pretty excited about that. And I really like the updated look.
AND……….Lilla Rose has been updating and making things a bit better and easier, so there is a shiny, new look over there as well!
Plus,Β Valentine’s Day is creeping right up!
So, let’s celebrate!
Let’s celebrate life and the daily and the new and the not-so-new. Let’s celebrate each good day! Let’s celebrate the memories. Let’s celebrate every little thing and hold the moments in our hand.
It’s a good thing to do. This embracing and celebrating and sharing joy.
Because the pain and trouble and the hurts are there too. They are just a part of life. We’ve had some hard things happen this week, too and have been pouring out prayers for friends and over situations and combatting fear and pain.

These are my favorites and celebrating is another favorite of mine.
I believe celebration comes from the heart of God. He looked at His creation and He said it was GOOD and VERY GOOD. God rested and I think He celebrated and thrilled in all that He had made.
He didn’t want all the ugly and sin and death and pain and hurt here in His beautiful world. That was never His plan.
Yet, He redeems and saves and gives grace and makes all things new. And I believe He celebrates every time this happens! Hallelujah!

One favorite of mine would be the Choose Gratitude journal. I have seen it advertised, but simply don’t have the funds at this point in time. It would be awesome to win this.
It’s not like you can’t just use any notebook or even plain paper to jot down things you’re thankful for, but the Gratitude Journal is a fun book and I think it helps make you intentional about doing it.

I loved the Gratitude Journal. I have decided that I am going to start doing that every day. It really makes a big difference in your life – and it would be so nice to be able to do that in such a pretty journal.
I really like keeping one. You can do it in any notebook, but a pretty journal helps inspire me to be more intentional about it.
