And it was a new week and we said “Hello new week!” And the week began. And away it ran.
And we cut corn….And then we got done cutting our corn and the farmer and his son began to help cut the corn on the circles we check…
And then the farmer’s wife found herself out of the house some of the day, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Running errands, delivering food, grocery shopping, cleaning, picking up produce, riding in the combine…
And then we snapped a picture of pretty apples…looks like fall! It’s applesauce making time!
And then there were dirty dishes {they are SO patient} and AlWaYs laundry. Always, always. {thankful for clean clothes.}
And then we got done cutting the other corn and then we got an inch of rain! {Happy Dance!} And then we cleaned out the shed and worked a little harder towards preparing for wheat drilling. And then there is this sleeper off of our semi truck. Do you need one? We need to sell it.
And then there was a one man band set up in the corner of the shed…
And there was machinery to put away…
And there was this shot of our house with the black cows, looking so pretty, in the field in front…
And there was this jar of iced tea and the ladder and I can’t miss a shot like that…
And more autumn beauty with orange pumpkins making bright spots of color here and there…
And then there was this picture sent to my phone…oh, my heart!
And there was this picture texted to my phone too…we can’t wait to hear about all the adventures she had!! {And this growing up, this growing up!!!}
And Then~
there was online catch-up, and schoolbooks and baking to do and hugs from our baby niece and Bible study and windows open and more tomatoes and lunch at McDonalds with my son and lunch with a friend
and then the gentle swing and ring and reminder of the necklace around my neck, bearing the words “Grace” and “Ephesians 2:8″ and the thoughts shared with me by my Mother, inspiring words from a convention ~”Breathe grace in, breathe grace out.” And can I even really begin to wrap my mind around grace?
And then this giveaway, of some of my favorites, over here that we are having! Come and enter! This giveaway package was such fun to put together.
And then here we are at the end of September!! And that means, tomorrow, Lilla Rose will have a new flexi-of-the-month for October!! {If you are a new Lilla Rose customer, ask me about a Buy 3 Have One On Us Offer!}
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

Sounds as though you had a blessed, busy week! Love the shot of those apples. Happy Fall!
I’m looking forward to hearing about Renae’s trip, too. So glad she could have this experience. Looks like the days she was gone flew by for you. Wish I could have heard the one man band. Guess I really don’t have a need for a semi sleeper seeing as how I don’t have a semi. Hope someone sees this and has a need for it. If I were there I would be glad to attack those dirty dishes. 🙂 That sure is pretty farm machinery that needs put away. Pumpkins add such a pretty pop of color to fall. That pic in the plane cockpit leaves me with lots of questions. Will be fun to hear more about it.
I’m finally catching up with you a bit! What a whirlwind my last 2 weeks have been – feels good to sit on the couch and read some blogs again!
