Here we go with a few quick hellos from last week and a few to things happening this week! Linking up with Lisa…
Hello to a Happy Thanksgiving and hello to pumpkin pie! Hello to fixing butterhorns and pies in my new kitchen! We went to my in-laws for a yummy Thanksgiving dinner. Two of my husband’s three brothers were there and our new, sweet niece, so we got to cuddle her some. It is so fun to watch all those tiny baby expressions. She is a very good baby. She doesn’t cry a lot and she has been sleeping pretty good at night for her mama. She goes to bed pretty early, I think, for a tiny baby and goes four to five hours between feedings. I don’t think you could ask for better.
Hello to some hauling hay photos to pop into this post!
Hello to some beautiful weather last week! My kiddos spent quite a bit of time outside. Hello to Tucker getting to go stay all night at a friend’s over Thanksgiving break! He was quite pumped. Hello to Renae going to help Grandma! Hello to me getting an evening to hang out with my husband! And hello to my husband getting to spend an evening with me! 🙂
Hello to tile being finished! Hello to thinking about finishing up Christmas shopping! Hello to a great giveaway coming this week! Hello to laundry looking at me, needing done. Hello to some rearranging and organizing. Hello to Amy Lynn Andrews e-book Tell Your Time! It’s FREE on Amazon today and tomorrow.
Hello to a baby shower for my new niece and sister-in-law! The food was delicious. But when chocolate cake is part of the menu, you usually can’t go wrong. They also served popcorn, baby carrots, Hershey’s miniatures, and coffee and water. Tasty! {Thinking about that chocolate cake is making me hungry.} My sis-in-law received a lot of great stuff! Darling little dresses and sleepers, a baby bathtub, a jogging stroller, blankets, burp towels, a Boppy, changing pad cover, toys, highchair, and baby quilts. They should be pretty well stocked. What a blessing!
Hello new week! May your week be blessed! May we rest in Him.

She’s adorable! Thank you for remembering that 4-5 hours of sleep at a time for a nursing newborn is great! People keep asking me if B sleeps through the night and then feel sorry for me when I say no. I should just start answering “She sleeps like a breastfed newborn!” Your kitchen is looking great – glad you had a good Thanksgiving!

I had a few nights when my babies got up every two hours and that was not very fun. Four-five hours is awesome in my book!
I really want to squeeze your baby. She is so darling!
That little baby is darling and she still makes me think of Tucker’s baby pictures. Love your new kitchen. That island looks so nice to use. And your food looks so yummy. A few pics what Pete is doing always adds interest.
I see what you mean about the resemblance to Tucker. She also looks a little like Renea Ann did.
The island is awesome. I fall more deeply in love every time I use my kitchen. Blessed. No other way to describe it.
I always enjoy my farm photos. Never enough time for all the photos and posts I’d like.
Gorgeous photos!
That pumpkin pie looks super yummy. I noticed the painting of a horse on your daughter’s wall right away. My little girl adores horses, so if she were sitting here, she’d want me to tell you that it’s a lovely painting. 🙂

My daughter and I both loved the canvas when we saw it. The price wasn’t bad, I didn’t think and we couldn’t leave it there. I’m still glad we got it for her room. 🙂
The pumpkin pie was yummy. I like making pie…and eating it!
Your hay photos make me homesick for my childhood in the Midwest. I’m not sure what a butterhorn is but they sound yummy! Stopping by today from Lisa Leonard. Happy Monday!

Glad you stopped by! My kiddos are pretty happy growing up in the country. 🙂 It is a blessing.
Here’s a link to a post of mine with some pictures of butterhorns. They are yeast rolls and they are so yummy. Especially fresh from the oven, slathered in butter! https://adelightfulglow.com/2012/10/butterhorns-and-other-things-hello-monday/
🙂 I especially like the photo of the truck from the front with the hay bales showing over the top. And the ones with the sun starbursts. Add those to that list I think you should have printed!
