Back to cutting after a thunderstorm and a little rain last night. The storm cleared the sticky out of the air. It still got very hot today, but it was a beautiful evening in the harvest field. A breeze, but not a WIND and sitting in the shade was very pleasant. Sunday the high temp is predicted at around 84ish and the low right now is predicted at 57. That’s gonna feel cold after 100+ degree days! I’m thinking {and hoping} open windows!
I’m waiting for my farmer man to come home and I’m tired and I still have dirty dishes in the kitchen~but they can wait. They won’t go away, for sure. I played taxi this afternoon and then rode in the combine for a while. My first chance to ride, so I took it. Back home and then we were back at the field to make our supper delivery.

That one stood out to me too. It’s always fun to try to get a unique angle. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
