Good morning!
For this Labor Day weekend, along with September slipping in, I’m posting these savory sandwiches.
Flaky crescents. Buttery croissants.
And a simple cheesy, chicken filling!
Mmmmm.
Don’t you want to reach your hand out and pick one up?!
We served these sandwiches at our celebration for our teens in February of this year.
I’ve made these sandwiches on occasion for years now.
With fall approaching, they sound cozy and yummy.
Here’s my recipe. It’s very adaptable!
Let me know if you try them or if you have a similar sandwich you like to make!
Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup shredded cojack cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4-8 buns or croissant rolls
Instructions
Mix chicken with cheese, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
Fill buns.
Wrap each sandwich in foil and bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until heated through.
Eat and enjoy!
You can add onion to the filling if you like onion. You can use any kind of favorite bun or roll !
The croissants make a special sandwich and add a delicious twist.
