Progress on my dishcloth from last week! Yay for progress! I was going to highlight something of Renae’s, but didn’t get that done. From Thursday right on, it seems we’ve had stuff happening every day. Renae commented last night that she was ready for a couple of slow summer days with not much of a schedule. Me too!
I’m enjoying the colors in this dishcloth. Renae said when I started it that it looked like the fourth of July! A little late for that, but summery all the same. It’s getting close to the finish. Then to choose my next color.
Linking up with Ginny and with Frontier Dreams.
I started this book and it’s a great read! This subject has been on my heart for quite a while for multiple reasons. I recently saw this book title somewhere online and put it on my want-to-read list.
I’m also still slowly reading through Simply Tuesday. I just so resonate with it.
My children’s pick for the week! This fun, fun book has long been on my children’s books bookshelf. I have weeded out books over the years, but this one stays.
Simple words and rhymes and terrific pop-ups! What’s not to love? It’s all a children’s book should be. Especially for small boys.
Each page has a 3D type pop-out that has some kind of movement. SO. MUCH. FUN.

I like your dishcloth. I’m going to try to knit me up one soon. Knitting is on my list of needlecrafts to try and a dishcloth would be a perfect project. And as for the first book (Keep it Shut)…well, it looks like something I could glean from. =^.
A dishcloth is a great, easy project! And I am enjoying the book!
Your dishcloth is looking lovely. I the red, white and blue color combo.
Thanks!! I do too!
Oh you can’t beat a dishcloth for nice simple knitting – and the colours are beautiful too!
I love your dishcloths. and I loved that book too – such a fun one!
